The founders promise Romeo Power that their batteries are the best

Former employees of Tesla and Faraday Future founded a new company to produce batteries for electric vehicles. They said the new battery their firms, Romeo Power, it will surpass what is on the market.

New California startup Power Romeo promises to start production of batteries at the beginning of 2017. Among its founders Michael Patterson and porter Harris, a former technical specialist at SpaceX and chief architect of the batteries in Faradey Future. He participated in the creation of batteries for the F9 rocket and life support systems for spacecraft the Dragon Spacecraft.

And the Vice-President Romeo Power Arun Gunasekaran previously worked in the team of Tesla Motors, also on a battery.

Now the company is negotiating with the local authorities of the States of California and Nevada, to select a location for the factory battery.

Part of the Power team Romeo, consisting of 50 employees, is located in new Delhi. A curious move considering India's potential, as well as the growth of electric vehicles market and storage energy.

Meanwhile, many companies conduct their developments in the creation of new batteries. So, Apple decided to introduce its electric car battery hollow. Because lithium ion batteries are heated from the center to the edges, the hollow center allows the cooled air to penetrate into the molten portions of the battery. This invention will allow the electric vehicle designers to reduce the size of the liquid cooling system or even get rid of them, reducing cost and machine weight. The hole in the center makes it easy to create parallel connections and increase future capacity of the battery.

In Austria, the three brothers created the revolutionary battery which weighs two times less on the market samples. Due to the new design, it is less overheating and, as a consequence, a longer service life.
