The largest private art Museum in Asia

Pingtan art Museum will represent the largest private art Museum in Asia, based on an artificial island near Pestana. The project is based in Beijing architectural Studio called MAD.





This extraordinary building is an elegant, modern design elements, taking up 40 thousand square meters of space. The artificial island, which will serve as home to a brand new Museum will be linked to the neighbouring island of Pegton special pier-transition. This is the third Museum, which will be designed by Architects from MAD, but he is certainly the most expensive. The cost of construction soars to $130 million.





The building itself should consist of three concrete mounds, which surround a beautiful oasis. The exterior of the Museum is a complex mixture of shells of concrete and sand. The interiors are designed to resemble a network of caves, allowing guests to enjoy a unique experience walking through the vast halls of the Museum. This architectural masterpiece has already been built, but still no news about its completion date.





The largest private art Museum in Asia, will include more than a thousand art exhibitions, which will be demonstrated fully during the debut performance.
