Thanks to the Internet we now have much more opportunities to listen to music. But this does not allow the budding artists to get their share of the financial pie. In fact, only 1% of artists received 77% of all proceeds from the sale of records.

In the magazine The Atlantic have an idea about the state of the music business at the moment. And their story does not sound very reassuring for small music groups:
