German Valentin Gruner a child doted on cats. As a young man, he took care of the animals in trouble in their homeland. As it turned out, it is - not only a lover of animals, but also an avid traveler. After moving to Canada, he first worked in several oilfields, but then his passion for the family cat still had the upper hand, and he continued his journey. His next stop was Africa, where he began working with the cats - cats with a very large size.



There he met a Dane Mikkel Legartom, who also had a weakness for big cats.


Together they founded a volunteer project to protect and rescue animals of Africa "Modise» (Modisa Wildlife Project).


A little later there was a fateful meeting. Near the station of the guys noticed, like a pack of lions we dealt with three cubs. The two managed to kill them, and the third bloodthirsty lions left to die of starvation. Mikkel and Valentine decided not to drag out - came to the aid of a small defenseless creature.



They sheltered lion cub at it and grow together. This little girl named Sirga. From the very start it was clear that the Sirga with time to unleash, and therefore it should raise quite different - not like other animals in captivity.



Valentin and Mikkel were the only people who had contact with the little lioness. This is to ensure that she is no stranger to the people, and thus its reintroduction would not be so time-consuming.



It introduces the wildlife, hunting antelope and did everything that is usually made by representatives of its kind.


Sirga very lucky that she met Valentine and Mikkel. They not only saved her life, but honestly cared about that later she was able to harmoniously integrate into the African fauna.
