As I walked in the mountains

In 2006, while studying at the university, our department had the idea to diversify boring training routine slightly extreme rest and go to the mountains, because of the "best of the mountains can be only mountains." Said - done! And so began the preparation for this significant event. First identified by the place, date, time, and began recruiting participants, but only reached to the final three: yours truly - TC, the guy with the last course of our specialty, we will call him Alex and Chair - then head of the department. It was decided to send Arhiz for 13 days, and the time the campaign was selected in August.

The most difficult trek across the organization was to obtain passes in the frontier zone, they receive only Cherkessk and time to check in there and paperwork, we did not have. The solution was found (I will not describe in detail) and we pass issued in absentia, but since we have not stopped by in Cherkessk, the arms we have not got (it is important to be clear on).
After registration of the Pass, the route was made head of the department, which consisted of three passes: Irkiz (2880m), Karadzhash (2960m), Ayyulyu (2089m), which looked like this (slight inaccuracies long been the case).



And the long-awaited day has arrived! Night on the road, in the morning he arrived at Arhiz. Little sleep in the lobby first got pension, pending further three people familiar from other groups (on the fourth day they left on their route). In the afternoon of Arkhyz dovezli us on hired "tablet" to the tract Glacial farm, the first point of the route. Here we set up camp and took 2 days for acclimatization. On the second day, it was decided to go to "radilku" to pass the Sofia saddle (2640m). There it was decided to go on a difficult but beautiful route along the Sofia waterfalls under which swim.

On the third day moved along the main route in the direction of the pass Irkiz, however, in the way we found the shower and it was decided to make an extraordinary park overnight.



By evening, the rain stopped, and the next day had the impression that there was no rain, but wet and cold things, and in particular socks and boots back into reality.



After breakfast, collected camp and went on our way, and the second group went on its route. Happy got up and started to climb the pass. This pass is not difficult, but for us it was the first, and the provisions in backpacks made itself felt, so we spent a lot of strength, but the view from the pass compensate all the tiredness.
