Then – the men who brought me into this project. @bobkolker and his etraordinary book, brimming with detail and compassion and mystery. Michael Werwie, who found his way through the multiple stories and came out with the through line of Mari Gilbert’s search. @kmac8649 and @rorykoslow who believed in@e gave me the job!!! So often female directors are looked at as – what have they done – can they do that again? Rather than – what have they done, and what do I think they are capable of??? And @anneecarey – who took the reins and rode this horse to the finish line. Anne is an incredible creative producer, supporter, and champion of her films and filmmakers. And the whole team at @archergraynyc – led by the inspirational @amy_nauiokas. My agents and friends @cbazdekis and Bart Walker, lawyer @cookieshane – who had my back for five years of a somewhat dramatic journey from script to screen. And then all who came with their incredible talent and tireless labor to make this movie – Igor Martinovic, @lisamyerslisamyers Curtis Smith, Carrie Fo, @marcirodgers_ @brianbadiehair @saschaspringer @jamiehrice – and so many more. It was cold, it was dark, the days were long – but you brought your a game. Thank you.
