Albina Akhatova - Olympic champion

World Cup debut January 13, 1996 - in the sprint race (held in the framework of the 3rd World Cup 1995-1996) in Italian Anterselva, showing the result of the 56th (and last among the Russian athletes) .First victory in the World Cup race won January 26, 2003 - in the mass start (which was held in the framework of the 6th World Cup 2002-2003) in Italian Anterselva. The relay race Albina Akhatova won a silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, a bronze medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and gold at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
