In the temple of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem descended the Holy Fire.

All the candles and lamps in the temple were previously extinguished. A fire is kindled by prayers for a miracle Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos and thousands of pilgrims who filled in that day the Holy Sepulchre, the area in front of it and the adjacent streets. Holy fire appeared in the Edicule - Chapel inside the church, above the stone bed on which rested on Holy Saturday buried the body of Christ
