«Planet Solar» - the world's largest catamaran that runs on energy from solar panels, launched in Kiel in northern Germany. German traveler and adventurer Raphael Domyan prepared in April 2011 to make it to circumnavigate the globe. This will be the world's first circumnavigation on a boat powered by solar energy. It is assumed that the voyage will last 140 days.
