The first of October the comet will approach Mars at a distance of 10.4 million kilometers. From that moment, the space agencies and photographers will have a couple weeks to take photographs and to conduct tests of its brightness.
Astronomers report that ISОNа has a chance to be the brightest comet of the first half of the 21st century.
The maximum convergence of the comet with the Earth (60 million miles) need to wait for December 26.
