1. The birthplace of the vegetarian movement is considered to be Ancient India. It is worth noting that today many of the inhabitants of Wonderland, voluntarily forgo meat, thus making more than 70% of the total vegetarian "population" of the planet.

10. There are in this list and the infamous celebrity: some people believe that a few years before the death of Adolf Hitler "took" vegetarianism. However, some biographers claim that the dictator didn't eat meat just in front of the guests, pointedly blaming those for their "murderous" habits. At the table Hitler liked to tell about the process of slaughtering, and when the audience had lost his appetite and pushed away the plates, he accused them of "hypocrisy". On one of the gala dinners, the Fuhrer said: "Here you have an example of how cowardly people. They are not able to kill the animal, but without the slightest remorse absorb the results of other people's murders."
