Japanese researchers created sticky sensor to read the indices of the internal organs

Sometimes doctors really need to read vital signs from the internal organs, but it is not always possible to get permanent access to the necessary bodies. However, Japanese scientists were able to solve the issue.

As Engadget reports, scientists from Japan have created a special sensor-based gel that can be fastened on the internal organs and to read the necessary parameters. A gel made of polyvinyl alcohol, which is used to create protective gloves or eye drops.

The advantage of this material lies not only in the fact that it can be easily mounted in the human body, but also that it is possible to integrate a grid of various sensors, which will control the required parameters.

At the moment, scientists began to conduct experiments of gel on the animal, therefore, to the practical application of the people may take even a long time. However, despite this, scientists believe that their invention may have enormous potential in medicine.

In the future, scientists propose to use the sensors from the control gel, for example, of the heart with a special pacemaker. The doctor can see the smallest deviations in the work of the heart and the time to prescribe the necessary treatment.
