Tobacco farmers from around the world

In the late 1990s, the family of Sarah Hazlegrov stop growing tobacco for the first time in 200 years. And her immediate reaction was the desire to take pictures of a family farm, Virginia, which she knew and loved. Although the history of the farm Forkland made her a special resonance, she knew that this time many families around the world tobacco close their farm.

In subsequent years, she visited family farms across the United States, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Malawi, Indonesia, Cuba and pictures of people who are still grown tobacco. Sarah Hazlegrov plans to visit a few of these farms in China, India, Turkey, to continue his project "Tobacco PeopleĀ».
