On that day, around 17.00 two six-year boy, Ilya Malyukin and Misha Karapetyan, bathed in the pond behind the building of the regional library. Later, Vadim said he thought if he did not know how to swim, but seeing the drowning child, forgot everything and rushed to save him. In the pond ozinets Vadim received a leg injury: hit the sticking out of the bottom of the valve; in the hospital, he left a few stitches.
