As the Rothschilds hint with The Economist’s new cover for 2024, change is coming

The British edition of the Rothschilds The Economist has released a traditional cover with encrypted predictions for the coming year. This time, political scientists, economists and ordinary people will have a good brain. The Economist 2024 has created a complex multi-layered rebus clue about what the world is about to see.

He said: Life is changing at a crazy rate. New wars break out, there is a reshuffle of forces in the energy sector, the development of artificial intelligence makes a breakthrough. Things will soon look very different than they did a few years ago, from the turmoil in the Middle East to the treatment of excess weight and the introduction of electric vehicles.

Journal "Economist" - 2024 For decoding, you should pay attention to individual symbols and images, background shades and colors. The intriguing cover is designed in the style of cyberpunk. It contains elements of cybernetics, futurism and science fiction. This suggests that our future will be closely linked to global changes in society and technology.

In the center of the image is a square tank that looks like a ballot box. Above it is a large hourglass, and on either side are two characters looking at each other. They depict Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the bottom, under the ballot box, there are two Earth hemispheres and images of the leaders of two sides of the world – Chinese Xi Jinping and American Joe Biden. Both are looking in different directions.

What should we expect in 2024? The Economist gives an explanation.

One of the important topics of the coming year will be a unique precedent for our civilization. The world will hold more than 70 elections, which will attract 4.2 billion people – more than half of the world’s population! The large number of voters does not mean the growth of democracy. Quite the opposite: it will be fertile ground for fraud and vote-rigging.

A special place in this event is occupied by the US presidential election. Donald Trump, as a shadow player, has a great chance to regain the reins. His fate can be determined by the courts and several tens of thousands of voters from states with ambiguous positions.

But the butterfly effect can be unpredictable. The fallout from the US election could affect everything from global climate policy to military aid to Ukraine. Vladimir Putin’s political future will largely depend on American voters, not Russian voters.

Europe should be more active and bold in helping Ukraine in its long struggle with military and economic resources. At the same time, it is important to accelerate the country’s accession to the EU. This step will not only strengthen the position of democracy in the world, but also insure against Trump’s return to power. The latter is able to block support and openly declares this intention.

According to the publication, the fighting between Israel and Hamas has led to the fact that the world can no longer turn a blind eye to the “difficult situation of Palestine”. Will this fight go beyond regional? Can America, as an overburdened superpower, adapt to a new, unpredictable and dangerous world? We are already seeing pro-Palestinian movements in many countries. What will happen in a year?

According to the publication, the war in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip failed the US plan to beat China in the competition. Russia is also losing its influence. Local conflicts are thawing around the world. China’s economy is on the decline, the issue of Taiwan remains open, and America plans to further restrict the export of new technologies to China. Against this background, you can expect anything, up to a new cold war.

New leaders in energy and artificial intelligence oil and gas will gradually lose their weight as fuel. They will be replaced by nickel, lithium and copper, which are necessary for the transition to green energy. Competition for clean resources could change polarity in trade and geopolitics and create new green superpowers.

Meanwhile, AI will penetrate deeper into the business and life of the layman. Not without new ways of abuse, of course. Already, AI is being looked at obliquely because of its ability to influence election results and take away human jobs.

What's the result? Despite the bloodthirsty mood of mankind, The Economist heralds new opportunities for strengthening ties between states and a technological breakthrough in 2024. It is likely that the international community will strive for equality and fairness in creating a more balanced economy.
