The motivation to seriously engage in music for Sergey Chelobanov in his youth were such musical groups as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple and others. And then he could not even imagine that fate would bring him to the Diva itself. It all started in the Balakovo Palace of Chemists in 1980. Then Sergey Chelobanov played in VIA “Singing Hearts”.



And after 10 years, in 1990, Sergey meets Alla Pugacheva. Then they had a whirlwind romance, and the career of a young singer went uphill. Diva has always loved talented, gifted people. She always found them in the crowd and gave them a good start. Then Sergey Chelobanov signed a contract with the Alla Pugacheva Song Theater and sang a duet with her. Sergey Chelobanov was a bright personality, but fame quickly turned his head. Star disease struck him, and their romance with Alla Pugacheva ended in 1994.



But after several recorded albums, the pop life of Sergei came to naught. His talent was more evident in his studio work. He became an excellent arranger, composer and songwriter. In addition to Philip Kirkorov, Sergey Chelobanov wrote songs for Diana Gurtskaya, groups Strelka, Federation and many other Russian stars. He wrote over a hundred songs that are still popular today. He was also an excellent organizer. But the capital life was difficult for Sergei Vasilyevich, and he returned to his native Saratov region. Today he leads a quiet life. He continues to do what he loves, writes songs and arrangements for them.



In 2007, Sergey Chelobanov decided to resume his solo career and came as a participant in the show “You are superstar”. There he took third place and for a while still appeared on television. Then he was a guest star on the show. But the continuation of this project never followed.



Now Sergey Chelobanov sometimes sings in a local club in the village of Balakovo. He also occasionally tours the Saratov region. He loves fishing and resting in nature.
