It was quite late, it was heavy snow. Through the snow, we noticed a dog sitting right in the middle of the road. She wouldn’t let us through and barked at all the cars passing by.



We had to stop and I walked confidently to the dog to drive him away. We were lucky that we were not in a hurry. As I approached the dog, she turned her head to the side and ran towards the curb. I was surprised that I didn’t have to do anything about it. I didn’t know why the dog ran away so quickly.

When I got back in the car and we started to go on, the dog immediately came back and sat down again in the middle of the road. The animal barked again, I got angry and got out of the car again. The snow didn’t stop and I knew we had to get to the hospital as soon as possible.

When I approached the dog, he ran to the side of the road again, exactly where he was last time. And that's when it came to me. I turned on the flashlight and followed the dog. Near the road was a man, the owner of this dog. He was unconscious, and God only knows how this story would have ended if it had not been near a faithful companion.



We instantly brought the stranger into the car, brought him to his senses and took him to the hospital. Of course, we could not take the dog with us. But it wasn't necessary. As soon as we moved, the dog started running after the car. He managed to catch up with us and waited for his master outside the hospital door.

Fortunately, we were able to get the injured man back on his feet very quickly. His family came and took him home with his dog. I was moved by this situation because this dog saved his owner’s life. Of course, I knew that dogs were loyal creatures. But now I've seen it for myself.
