Farm Chair - a chair that can grow with their own hands
Designer Werner Aisslinger presented an unusual living room chair at Milan design week that is grown from scratch, and not made by the factory. The green chair is created from a natural plant that grows in a special steel form, when the form is removed, a "living" chair is ready to use.
Werner Aisslinger offers a revolutionary approach to the production of furniture: instead of producing it in distant factories or imported, can be grown to form pieces of furniture in place. The design minimizes resource use and waste, making a "living" furniture is exceptionally durable alternative to standard chairs.
Aisslinger has been experimenting with advanced sustainable technology for many years. In many respects the "green" chair Chair Farm is a natural evolution of some of his previous works, such as "a Chair made of hemp" (Hemp chair), which the designer presented at the 2013 Milan furniture fair. published
