After a major renovation opened up the "Small Venice" at the seaside national Park in Baku. The opening ceremony was attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. "Small-Vention" was commissioned in 1960. 30 Mar 2011 during the familiarization with the construction of the building of the State Museum of Azerbaijani carpets and applied folk art, the head of state gave instructions on reconstruction of "Small Venice".


President Ilham Aliyev was informed that during the work on the capital reconstruction carried out with preservation of the overall structure of the town, here the available channels have been expanded, brought in new boats, built additional bridges and two restaurants. One of the restaurants will offer customers a selection of Western dishes and the other East.
