Low-budget eco house with terrace - 2 weeks

Probably a dream of your own space where you can relax from everyday worries and for a while to "escape from reality". Finnish designer Robin Falk (Robin Falck) did just that, he built a small house for rest. At the request of Finnish local authorities, not to achieve the necessary permits for housing construction, it (the building) should be less than 9 square meters (modest 96-128 square feet). Robin Falck, creating a miniature design, with the approval of the architects, began to build "the dream of solitude".

Beautiful scenery and clear water beaches are a great place for boating, kayaking, fishing and just walking in the woods. In this picturesque place, with the help of a local carpenter, Robin built his two-story "hut" called "Nido" (Nido). Translated from the Italian "Nido" means "bird's nest" (why Italian ? — probably sounds nice). In this cozy "nest" has everything you need — kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom.

In the compact house has a large rectangular window which occupies almost the whole wall. So the designer created a visual impression of more space. Besides the room provide natural daylight and in the evening, overlooks the beautiful, breathtaking view of the starry sky.

The designer is very carefully and lovingly refers to nature, so in the construction process, the vegetation remained intact. For construction were used only recycled materials. The entire project was completed within two weeks created by hand and Falk assesses its value at $10500 (not including his own labor) — an incredibly affordable price for such a relaxed kind of "micro homes".
