Buses Ikarus solar
Buses and trolleybuses are the most popular public transport in major cities in North Korea. Basically this machine is the Hungarian brand Ikarus remaining from the Soviet times.

They installed on the roof of each car 32 solar panels with a capacity of 100 watts, which are connected with fifty capacitors. In turn, the capacitors feed energy compact electric motors weighing only 95 pounds. Depending on the body type of these machines is capable of carrying from 70 to 140 with a speed of 40 km/h.
It is worth noting that at the time a similar idea called for engineers from India who develop the cars, on the roofs of which installed solar panels. In theory they should cover up to 15% of the train into electrical energy, at least in the first stage.
