Serial electric supercar Concept One will be shown at the Geneva motor show Bashny.Net

Young Croatian carmaker Rimac Automobili intends to demonstrate is ready for serial production version of its Concept_One electric sports car at the upcoming Geneva motor show 2016.

"The basis Concept_One is based on the idea that the electric powertrain can not only add sports car speed, but also to make it more customizable, flexible and interesting. RIMAC Automobili was founded to push the boundaries of technology electric power plants. So Concept_One combines all the know-how, technology and experience that the company has built up since its Foundation," — said on the website Rimac Automobili.The first concept electric supercar Rimac debuted in 2011 at the Frankfurt motor show. Over the past few years, the Croatian engineers have improved the power unit and control system all-wheel drive electric vehicle, which is able to efficiently distribute torque between all four wheels depending on conditions of movement.





"Concept_One is unique because our product is designed and manufactured as a single team working under one roof, says chief designer Adriano Mudri. — We have carried out this electric car of all your achievements and skills, opening up a large potential for improvement at each stage".The total output of the four motors with permanent magnets electric vehicle will be 1088 HP (800 kW), and the details of its interior are made without using plastic – all elements of the interior are made of carbon fiber, Alcantara or metal (aluminum).





Croatian supercar will receive battery with a capacity of 82 kW*h and a voltage of 650 V, which consists of 8450 cells, arranged in two blocks, distributed along the Central tunnel and the rear compartment of the body, according to ecotechnica.com.ua. From zero to 100 km/h the Rimac Concept_One electric car of mass 1850 kg is capable of accelerating for 2.6 seconds.




"My goal was not to create an electric version of one of the existing supercars. I wanted to develop a technology that will make the car much better in every aspect – faster, more fun and more efficient. I wanted to build a supercar of the 21st century", says CEO Mate RIMAC.Increase speed of electric vehicles up to 200 km/h takes 6.2 seconds, to 300 km/h in 14.2 seconds. Its maximum limit is restricted at the level of 355 km/h, and the slowing of 390 mm front and 380 mm rear ceramic brake discs (brakes with six (front) and four piston calipers). Plus, when braking the car uses the electric motors for energy recovery, able to collect up to 400 kW (optionally this feature can be disabled).





Control electronics allows to choose between several modes of operation – comfort, track, and driftover. And for the most extreme drivers are offered the ability to disable all electronic assistants. The possibility of activating through the touch screen secondary functions, such as telemetry, collected on more than 500 of various sensors.

The first supercar Concept_One will be limited edition – reported only about 8 available copies. The cost of the electric car Rimac has not been disclosed.
