Eco-friendly biodegradable tableware made of palm leaves Bashny.Net

A German company has developed a Republic Leaf eco-friendly disposable plates of green leaves. Ware ideal for picnics and other occasions when it is more convenient to use disposable dishes, in the open air it decomposes within a month, compared to plastic, which pollutes nature for many years, and is also waterproof.


The dish, dubbed "one-way dishes", made without the use of plastic, glue and other chemicals. All products are manufactured in the German factory near Munich with the use of CNC mills and pressing machines. Each biodegradable plate consists of three layers: a waterproof sheet of paper between two layers of pressed and sewn palm leaf green. The plates give a different shape with a press, they are delivered with additional cover made of bioplastic or recycled plastic.


"Ware is not just for outdoor use," reports Leaf Republic. "We are talking about food packaging. We are talking about the prevention of plastic waste. We are talking about preventing the destruction of trees for paper production. We are talking about the next generations."


 

The company is currently raising funds on Kickstarter to bring the production of biodegradable tableware for a fully automated production line. published
