History. Construction of the battleship "Gangut"

From myself: Destiny ship combat, was a participant in the battles in the wars, including WWII. Renamed the "October Revolution" 27 June 1925.
During World War II participated in the defense of Leningrad, was damaged by German artillery fire and aircraft. Commander of the ship in 1941-42 was M. Moskalenko.
After July 1954 was used as a training ship. From the Navy expelled in 1956. Anchors and anti-aircraft guns, shot from the battleship, set in a park in Kronstadt.
