Masterpieces of the Russian Museum in Moscow metro

Many generations of Muscovites are not only Moscow metro transport system, but also a cultural object, an integral part of city life. Train "Watercolor" - one of the unique creative projects implemented in the Moscow metro. Composition, an art gallery released in a single copy on an individual project and runs on Arbat-Pokrovskaya line.

May 13, 2009 train "Watercolor" came on line with a new exposition - the epitome of teamwork of the Moscow Metro and the Russian Museum.

The project "Masterpieces of the Russian Museum in Moscow Metro" is intended to diversify the journey underground metro passengers. Unique watercolor, whose authors - world-famous Russian painters will decorate the largest metropolitan transport system, draw attention to the classical art, which has always been famous for our country.

Presented at the exhibition of 35 watercolors - a very small part of the graphic collection of the Russian Museum. But these works demonstrate the energy, beauty and charm of watercolors, independent and still not too familiar public art form.
