The script for the film Alien in 1979 was originally developed by Dan O`Bennonom and Ronald Shusettom.
Movie Title was taken at the end of creating the script. O`Bennonom was immediately rejected to original name of the movie, "Star Beast", but could not come up with another name for the replacement. "I went through the names of the options, and they were disgusting," - he said in an interview, "when suddenly the word" stranger "just came out of a typewriter at me. "Alien" - that nouns and adjectives. "The word" stranger "was the title of the film and later, respectively, the name of the creation.
Initially, the image of an Alien created the Swiss artist Hans Rudolf Giger (in German. Hans Rudolf Giger). He also developed the look of the alien creatures from the sci-fi movie "Species," which in many ways is very similar to Alien.
Queen "Aliens" was painted already the second film directed by James Cameron, together with artist Stan Winston. Winston Studio created specifically for the film, foam model with full hydraulic control. It is this model and starred in almost every scene of the film, demanding the presence of the Queen in the frame. For this work, the film won the Academy Award for best visual effects. Only in the 2004 film "Alien vs. Predator" was applied computer simulation runs and fights the Queen.
