Gang Theft Auto ruined "show-off" with Facebook

Conor Murphy, one of the gang members, published the photo in his Facebook page, where he is depicted with a "sandwich of banknotes"; thus attracted the attention of police. Gang hijacked a fleet of expensive cars the residents of London, was detained after compromising photos shared on social networks. One of the photos shows Theft Auto "double sandwich" filled with money.




A gang of eight men stole nine vehicles such as: BMW, Range Rover, Porsche and Mercedes, as well as jewelry, phones and laptops in the course of 15 separate burglaries.



The police finally catch criminals after one of his gang members posted photos on Facebook, where it was sealed, he was sitting on the hood of a stolen black Range Rover. Two other members of the gang were depicted with a stolen car Mercedes AMG C63 worth 100,000 pounds sterling.



As a result, the seven members of the gang pleaded guilty to theft and eight members of the group denies any involvement in a plot to steal cars, but was convicted by a jury.



One of the cars that had been found and returned to its owner, the gang tried to steal again, reprogrammed using the key. Their attempt was noticed by the owner of the car that was trying to catch the thieves.
