Beauty in Italian
Convertible based on the VAZ 2101 might look like (if it ever came into existence). In the photo is the only instance in the world of Fiat 124 C 4, built by Italian bodywork company Carrozzeria Touring in 1966.

2. The machine has been built on the Fiat 124 series, which is then received Soviet citizenship and became known as VAZ 2101 or simply "Kopeika". The only instance issued under the symbol "C4 Touring Superleggera» specially for the show at the Turin Motor Show in '66, during which time began to study the demand and receive preliminary applications for the new model. As a result, it received about 1000 orders from dealers and private individuals, and decided to start small-scale assembly of the coupe-cabriolet based on the Milanese bodywork company Carrozzeria Touring. Unfortunately, this car was the last work of this company. Unable to withstand the competition from Pininfarina and ItalDesign, the company went bankrupt and was liquidated in late 1966. Serial Fiat 124 coupe-cabriolet and never saw the light, remains forever a single sky-blue demonstration machine. It's a pity. What a beautiful car turned.
