Khan Shatyr - one of the world's largest tent-shaped structures. Built in Astana with a special transparent material that transmits sunlight, through which also preserved the special climatic conditions (long live the warmth in the midst of the harsh prairie winters!)

Briefly about the structure - a shopping and entertainment center, 150 meters in height with a spire 120 thousand square meters. Square, 6 floors, shopping malls the world's major brands, cinemas, spas, children's amusement park with rides, highlight - an artificial beach on the top floor.

The architect - Norman Foster. The cost of construction, if memory serves - 300 million. Dollars.
