This unusual house in the midst of the Serb Drina River was built by local children about forty-five years ago. The main purpose of the construction was to create a secluded vacation spot. And they succeeded.

House was built on a rock in the middle of the river Drina, near the small Serbian town of Bajina Basta.

Guys, initially, simply pulled a few boards to make it easier to sunbathe, then, decided to build a house.

Regular fluctuations of the water level several times destroyed house.

Until a few months ago about the house knew only a handful of locals and tourists.

Everything changed when the magazine «National Geographic» there was a photo taken by Irene Becker.

Hundreds of tourists immediately wanted to visit this unusual place.
