It was built one prototype; Los Angeles fire department to use a year in 1980-1981. The device worked well; the problem was with the logistics: the reliability required for the boat would have to carry a large twin-engine helicopter, which had to be urgently call. In addition, after 1980 incidence of fires in skyscrapers dropped their ubiquity sprinkler and other fire extinguishing systems, so that the need for such a system is also decreased.
