Ride Sorochinskaya Fair 2011

The village Sorochintsy (Great Sorochintsy) Poltava region from the XIX century is famous as the venue of the most colorful markets in Ukraine. Of particular popularity it gained after the publication of the famous novel "Sorochintsy Fair" Ukrainian writer Nikolai Gogol, who was a native of the village Sorochintsy.
Annually Sorochyntsi Fair visits to a million people.





Last year it was attended by over 600 enterprises and craftsmen from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, Germany and Poland. Ukraine set a record in the number of both cooked borsch - 1000 litorv!



Sorochintsy Fair 2011 will be held, as usual, a large trade area on the outskirts of the village Sorochintsy.



Of particular interest is the folklore of the area, stylized Ukrainian village.



Folk artists from Oposhnya, Petrikovka, Kosmach and other places of Ukraine, famous for its tradition of handicrafts, offer visitors their products:
