Our trip to the abandoned castle Chateau Miranda

Well, as tickets to Belgium on 3 January have already been purchased, I realized that it was fate, and we were with a friend simply God himself ordered to hit the road!
So arrived in Brussels, we settled in Antwerp, a 40-km from the capital, the next day rented a car and hit the road.
Town Celles (instead of Selles, to the last post) is an hour's drive from Antwerp. The roads are very good, and everywhere it is possible to heat 130-140. At the entrance to Celles.

And at first we see a very old castle Chateau de Veves. About a convenient parking. It turns out the family, which owns the castle went on here during the war, and then long to rent it to the local "Russian Railways" (or rather BR Belgian Railways). Last here organized a summer camp for children of its employees, and later even for all children. If you search the internet, you will find a bunch of pictures of happy children swim and rejoicing of life on a beautiful landscaped area, is not that right now !!!

Well, what he sent us directly to the place of parking, so after 20 minutes we are back in Celles and the fine lunch at a local cafe, where, incidentally, a local waiter told us that in December, the family that owns the castle, has filed a request to the authorities for the right to it demolished. So if it is satisfied in April, the castle can not be! Who cares - HURRY!
