There was a first presentation of the award for the best design of the car, organized by the German Association of German Design Council. The competition is named, Automotive Brand Contest Grand Prix received a brand Kia. The jury in this case evaluated the overall style of the brand, its recognizable features.
Especially for the competition lead designer Peter Schreyer Korean brand scribbled sketch of the main stylistic features of current models of Kia, and these design motifs won the main prize.
