Massive reconstruction "kiss in Times Square"

Massive reconstruction of the famous photograph taken at the end of the Second World War, which depicted a sailor kissing a nurse in Times Square in New York City.

1. August 14, 1945, New Yorkers learned of the surrender of Japan. It was then that the photographer Alfred Eisenstadt Life Magazines went to Manhattan and made his, which became legendary picture with a young sailor kissing a pretty nurse.





2. Now close because space in Times Square, where there was a historic kiss, is a statue of repeating the story of photography.



3. Since 2005, the Day of Victory, many New Yorkers come to Times Square to take part in a ceremony to "recreate the kiss."



4. August 14, 2010 hundreds of couples from around the world have repeated "Long Kiss" in Times Square.
