Landmark Slovenia

Lake Bled - natural landmark of Slovenia, in the region of Krajina, which is a resort of Bled and Pokljuka plateau. The lake is situated at an altitude of 475 m above sea level.





The length of the water - 2, 1 km, width - 1, 4 km. In the middle of this glacial lake is the only island in Slovenia, as it stands the Chapel of the Assumption, which often hosts wedding. Ply to the island so-called "wattle" - wooden boats. In the neighborhood of 130-meter cliff is Bled Castle, built in the XI century.
