Photographer tells the story of George Fowler, a 72-year-old man who lives in a four-room house. However, his house is almost unfit for habitation because of the piles of trash collected over three decades.

"This project provides a glimpse into the world of George Fowler, who suffers from hoarding - says Corinna Kern. - George collects all sorts of items from sidewalks and garbage cans in the hope that he would find a better use for it than to die in the dumps ... Nevertheless, his obsessive behavior is a logical response to society in which mass production and excessive consumption became the norm. More than one year I spent with George and eventually went to live at his home, which allowed me to understand human nature and what is the basis of his unusual condition ».In the house of a person suffering Compulsive hoarding
