Horizontal Falls

In the Bay Area Talbot Kimberley in Western Australia is a horizontal waterfall.
This natural phenomenon consists of two canyons in the ridges McLarty range through which tidal waves pushed huge amounts of water, creating a temporary waterfall height of 5 meters.




When the flow direction is changed, there is a waterfall on the other side of the ridge.



Two fault are on two parallel ridges about 300 meters from each other. First, adjacent to the sea fracture has a width of about 20 meters. Second, the image most spectacular waterfall, a width of 10 meters.



During tidal water accumulates in front of the faults faster than can pass through them. This, in turn, creates an amazing effect of the waterfall when the water rushes through a narrow opening, and on the other side of the ridge falls to a lower level of water.



Hot flashes, alternating with the tide every six and a half hours in this area reach 10-meter mark. When the flow through the fractures subsides, there it is possible to sail on the boat
