Healer from the Mogilev region

In the village of Malenkiye Pilshichi in the Mogilev region, there is a healer Fedora Danilovna Konyukhova, who is approached by people whom medicine is already powerless to help. According to the healer, her unusual abilities began to manifest themselves in childhood and for many years doctors have been trying to understand how she is able to diagnose a person with just one touch of her hand. Today we will visit the Belarusian healer and see what her resounding success is. At first glance, small Pilshichi in the Mogilev region is no different from any other Belarusian village: rickety huts, lonely old people, mud and scum. But at the end of the road, you can see a brick building that is not fashionable in a rural way, at the gate of which cars are constantly parked, many with Russian license plates. The 88-year-old healer Fedora Danilova Konyukhova, or simply Baba Fedora, is visited by Minsk residents, residents of the deep provinces, and desperate Russians.

Valentina Antonovna brought her husband to Fedora. He has cancer, and at the last stage. "At first, the doctors felt sorry for my husband, kept silent, and then they said to his face that he had no chance," sighs the Belarusian. "And so it all started all of a sudden!" In just a month, the disease developed. He hadn't even had time to retire yet. We have already been turned back in Borovlyany, and everywhere. If Fedora doesn't help..."
We are talking, standing in the kitchen of a two-story hotel, which Fedora Konyukhova built for patients. The place to spend the night is quite modest: beds and icons. French croissants and lattes are not offered for breakfast, but you can always stay here for a night or for several days. "Hotel", "healer", "village" - all together it sounds quite strange. But the flow of people is really so large that they had to build a separate building for visitors. Many people believe in Fedora's healing abilities, talk and write about her. And they mock her, and scold her a lot. But the number of patients rushing to the "appointment" does not decrease.

The material side of the issue practically does not bother those who came to the healer as the last source of hope. They say that people who have no money are accepted by grandmother Fedora for free. From the rest, he takes depending on the severity of the disease. "I don't know how much Fedora will take for the treatment of my husband, we have just arrived, and our turn has not yet come today. Last time, we paid 700 thousand for the treatment of two people - a son and a grandson," says Valentina Antonovna. "I just started talking to a woman in the kitchen, she said that the healer charges her 800 thousand for hotel accommodation and two treatment sessions a day, and in total you need to go through 20 sessions, that is, ten days. This is 8 million. Not a small amount, of course, but I am ready to give the last, if only it helps my husband!"
At the entrance to the house of Fedora Danilovna, as if at the office of a titled medical professor, relatives of patients are anxiously on duty. "Well? What did you learn? What is she doing?" they ask everyone who walks out the door. Alexander, for example, came with his wife. She has multiple sclerosis. "It started after the birth of the child, and she is getting worse and worse. Now my wife can hardly walk... Unfortunately, this disease is not cured all over the world," the man states sadly. Minsk resident Vitaly took his seriously ill father to Fedora, and now he is waiting at the door for his son: a five-year-old boy was brought to a healer so that he would stop peeing at night. Vitaly gives the impression of a serious business man, but at the same time he clearly enjoys hearing about the superpowers of his 88-year-old grandmother. In the queue, you can hear fragments of the phrases "cleanses the blood", "improves the aura", "biofield", "X-ray man"...
Fedora Danilovna receives us in her state room. There are icons in the corner, beautiful embroidery on the beds and pillows. No magic ball or tarot cards, everything is very natural. The grandmother looks intelligent and moves with an unexpected agility for an 88-year-old man.

I, like my parents, was born here, in Pilsici. This place, where the house now stands, was a church place," says the healer. "My father worked for many years as the chairman of a collective farm. I often see in my dreams how he came here (there was someone else's farm here at that time) to dump the negative energy that he received from other people. Before the war, my father and his family were sent to work in Filandia, where we lived for a year. When the war began, we were evacuated to the Vologda region, and my father was taken to the front. There he died. But even before his death, my father gave me a tribute, that is, he took a promise from me that I would become, like his mother, a doctor."
According to Fedora Danilovna, her unusual abilities began to manifest themselves in childhood. Her father was seriously injured when she was a young child. So, as soon as Fedora came to the ward, he felt better. As soon as he left the hospital corridor, his father's condition worsened. Therefore, he constantly called his girl to him. Then Fedora managed to cure her father.
The Belarusian healer, of course, believes in very unusual, outrageous things. Fedora believes that a person is born on his land an innumerable number of times and that many of our doubles walk around the planet. She tells about frequent visions, about how in a dream she fought with Satan and shouted: "I'll strangle you anyway!" "Every village has its own Mother of God," she says sincerely. She tells each patient about the miraculous power of the local clay and healing water from four wells. "Nowhere in the world is there such a spring of water as in our source! The light begins from here, from Belarus," the healer assures.

By the way, our Belarusian Fedora is a big celebrity among the "clairvoyants", as she calls them. In the seventies and eighties, even Moscow scientists studied the supernatural abilities of the healer. For many years, in various institutes of biophysics, experts have been trying to understand: how can Fedora diagnose a person with just one touch of her hand? How is it possible for a person's fingers to emit such a strong energy that is recorded by instruments? The Belarusian healer was even invited to Star City, where, according to her grandmother, her lecture made a great impression on the pilots. Valentina Tereshkova herself was treated by her. "I cured Tereshkova in ten days. Her kidneys were sick, and I helped, and she still runs," Fedora recalls briefly about the cosmonaut.

However, behind the resounding success of the healer there is a great family grief: three of the four children died. Now next to the 88-year-old grandmother is granddaughter Elena. She comes from Minsk several times a week, where she gives lectures on jurisprudence, to look after the farm (Fedora has chickens, a dog and a cat as animals), feed her grandmother and clean the house. "What have they done to the Belarusian village! It hurts to watch. Previously, everyone had large farms, but now in our Pilshichi not a single person keeps a cow, because there is not enough money for feed," sighs Elena.
Fyodor's grandmother herself does not complain about life. "Many old people at my age don't even get out of bed, but not me," says the healer.
The time for talking is coming to an end, it's time to test Fedora's healing power on yourself. The whole ritual lasts no more than 20 minutes. With very hot and strong hands beyond her age, the healer passes them over the body, from time to time holding them at one point, then briefly and distinctly pronounces, for example, "I don't like your chest" or "You, my child, have gastritis." Fedora named almost all the sores of the correspondent, but also mentioned what had never bothered her before. Profanation or foresight? Decide for yourself. Finally, my grandmother gave me to drink healing water from her own well and gave me a bag of local, again, clay, which needs to be smeared on sore spots. She did not take a penny for all this.

When we were leaving Fedora Danilovna, another car drove up to the house, from Murmansk. Murmansk residents found the address of the Belarusian healer on a Russian forum. They were forced to travel many kilometers from their hometown by an unshakable faith in a miracle that should help. And the hope that Fedora is the very righteous man, without whom, according to the proverb, the village does not stand.
