Fairy village in the Bavarian Alps

Oberammergau - a small alpine village which attracted us with its fabulous painted facades. Just a few narrow streets, but every house like a work of art. All murals are painted a very high quality, worked out shadows and contours. It seems as if the house really decorated columns, shutters and other decorative elements. Basically it is a traditional Bavarian decorations, scenes from fairy tales or religious motives. This unusual technique was first coined by a local artist Franz Tsvink. As the advertising itself, he decorated the walls of his house so unusual frescoes, well, then orders him fell one after the other.
