American artist Pat Acton decided to recreate the fabulous city of Minas Tirith (City of Kings) - the capital of Gondor, Tolkien's Middle-earth from. Work took three years and 420,000 matches. And a ton of glue, of course. Additionally, 24,000 small wooden bars spent on construction Mindolluin Montes, which is built on the rock city.
