Ergonomic stacking firewood for the winter. Method Holzhausen

There are different ways of stacking wood, and this, according to some, both science and art. Since you have to create some air circulation to the tree at the same time and dried up and remained dry throughout the long winter.





The Germans have an interesting method of stacking wood which they call Holzhausen ("wood house"). Firewood stacked in a circle, and put inside of a log is irregular in shape vertically to create a vertical air circulation (the so-called "natural draft", ensuring that the wood inside dries as well.
