In the halls of the museum presents about 15 thousand exhibits, revealing the history of the Armed Forces of our country: photographs, documents, awards, weapons and personal belongings of soldiers, officers, generals celebrated. The main part of the exhibition occupies 24 rooms with a total area of 5,000 sq.m. The exposition created the creative team of researchers of the museum.
The materials are arranged in chronological order on the following topics: History of the Russian Armed Forces until 1917 (1 - 3rd Hall); The Red Army during the Civil War and foreign military intervention (4 - 6th meeting rooms); Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army and Navy to guard the security of the USSR (7 - 8th meeting rooms); Armed Forces during World War II (9 - 18 th rooms); the postwar history of the Soviet Armed Forces (19 - 21 minutes halls); Creation and development of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (22 - 23 minutes halls, the 24th is an exhibition hall).
