Last weekend in the capital of the UK was one of the largest carnivals in Europe, which first took place almost half a century ago and was jointly organized by immigrants from the Caribbean.

By the way, next year this event will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary.

The festival lasts exactly two days. He starts on Sunday with the "Children's Day" and ends on Monday festivities already "grown-up".

As you know, most of the immigrants from the Caribbean roots entrenched in Africa, therefore, traditional costumes for carnival have much in common with the culture of the African peoples.
