From an early age, girls learned to dance and play the violin. At Yio Chu Kang High School, they enrolled in a Chinese folk dance class, and when they were 13 years old, they were enrolled in a course by Ocean Butterflies. The courses taught the sisters to dance and sing, as well as to perform on stage. By the way, in the same year, their father died of cancer. He hoped that his daughters would not give up on their dreams under any circumstances, and thus encouraged them to actively pursue their dream of becoming singers. They also won the Best Costume Design competition. The company signed a 10-year contract, according to which the girls had to learn new styles of dance in countries such as Japan, China and Taiwan, as well as improve their vocal skills. They had to give up basic education to achieve their goals. They did not finish high school, which caused a lot of noise, as the Regular GCE level is considered compulsory education, without which they do not give a work permit in Singapore.

In March 2008, the name By2 appeared on many major websites in China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries. It wasn't until then, at the age of 16, that a lot of attention was drawn to the dancing skills of these little beauties. Their talent raised the interest of many friends on the Internet and in the same year they released their first album "16 Wei Cheng Nian" (16 Minors). ''
