Beach life in the USSR

40-ies of XX century. White linen bras for these girls is unlikely to industrial production. In those years, there is little you can buy ready-made garments from - from underwear, women, basically, all sewed. And to get the good stuff was not so easy. Clothes cherished - to alter, if possible perelitsovyvat nothing thrown.

In June 1959, Moscow hosted the first fashion show of the house of Christian Dior. For that time it was an incredible event - an opportunity to get acquainted with foreign fashion, so different, refined, inaccessible, and therefore even more alluring. Soviet fashionistas burst.
