Abandoned base of geologists

On the fourth day of rafting our guides showed abandoned base of geologists. These are the only traces of human life for hundreds of miles around. It seems that in the camp were two men and, judging by the numerous scattered barrels, lived for a long time.

The camp consists of several tented structures, and in one of them we were met by a welcoming plate ...



It is not known when it was created and how long functioned this item. Perhaps even in the pre-perestroika times.

That's the main tent, where hangs a plaque. There you can see two bunks. Tent, apparently left in a normal state, but during the years of neglect her badly battered:



In the pocket of the tent we found a modern repellent. Most likely, he left someone who was in the camp much later. This place is located in a swamp and mosquitoes here - Million:

Lukoylovskaya barrel only one - the rest are all rusty and old. Most likely, there was a camp for a long time, and specifically this barrel delivered one of the last:

We decided to get in the abandoned camp to prepare lunch. Caught fish, found a few dead trees and lit a small fire:

For the first time in four days opened repellent against mosquitoes:
