Let's start with ligers.

Liger is the offspring of a lion and a tigress. The spots and stripes inherited from the lion dad are not as bright as his (small lion cubs are spotted)

Some ligers have a lion's mane, but are smaller than those of lions. Tiger habits include a love of water and the ability to swim, while growling is more like a lion's. They usually weigh more than lions. Male ligers are infertile, so it is not yet possible to breed them into a separate breed.

Tigons are much rarer and are the result of a difficult crossing between a tiger and a lioness. They often die during childbirth. Usually less than their parents. Unbreedable.



Leopards are a cross between lions and leopards. Usually larger than leopards, but smaller than lions.









Also nowadays, it is widely practiced to cross wild cats with ordinary domestic purrs to breed hybrid breeds that look like wild predators, but with a character more similar to the character of ordinary domestic cats and suitable for the role of pets.

The Savannah is a breed of domestic cat, developed as a result of crossing a regular cat and an African serval. Although the serval itself is also suitable for keeping at home (almost the only large cat that is completely domesticable). In Russia, they are not common, their prices are quite biting - from $4000.

Toyger is an attempt to breed a breed with a color resembling a tiger. Tiger blood has nothing to do with it - the breed originates from Bengal cats. At the moment, the breed is just gaining common features. I did not find anything about prices and the availability of kittens in Russia at all.







The Bengal cat is the result of crossing the domestic and Asian leopard cats. The Asian leopard cat is nothing supernatural in terms of size, but nevertheless it is a separate species of wild cat. The price of a kitten is from $1500.
