A daring attack on NATO convoy

June 9 near Islamabad, gunmen opened fire on a convoy of trucks of NATO, was bringing military equipment to foreign troops in Afghanistan. As a result of militant attacks on the convoy, killing 6 people, 7 were injured. Among the dead and wounded, allegedly, only locals.




During the attack, which occurred in the suburbs shelled Pakistani capital, unidentified persons fired more than 50 trucks transport terminal NATO.



At least 10 militants on motorcycles and a pickup truck waiting for a convoy of NATO just ten kilometers from the city.



After the shelling, the attackers set fire to the car, which was cargo for coalition forces in Afghanistan.



According to a senior Islamabad police Kalim Iman (Kalim Iman), participated in the attack and 12 militants, who began searching immediately.



As a rule, such attacks take place in the north of Pakistan, where the one of the main routes of delivery logistics.
