7 Personal Finance Management Books

7 Personal Finance Management Books No one wants to have financial problems. At the same time, a high level of income does not guarantee material well-being, at least in the long term. Here, habits and rules performed when handling money are more important.

I have already written about some common mistakes in handling money, for example, here.

However, for those who want to better understand these issues and avoid future problems, it is better to read one or more books on personal finance management.

I provide links to books in some cases, while others can be found online or purchased in a bookstore.

1. The Richest Man in Babylon (George Clason)

One of the most famous books on this topic. Although the book was written about 100 years ago, it is not outdated and has not lost its usefulness. Other books on financial management are sometimes simply based on this book.

2. Rich Dad Poor Dad (Robert Kiyosaki)

Robert Kiyosaki is a very popular author in recent years and you have probably seen his books in bookstores. The author writes about life lessons learned from his own "poor" father and the rich father of his friend.

“Poor Dad” taught his son that to succeed, you need to get a good education, get a good job, and save money. Although these tips seem helpful, Robert realized that they would never create material well-being for him. “Rich Dad” gave him completely different advice about investing, creating passive income, etc., which shaped a different way of thinking about managing money.

3. 10 Secrets of Wealth (Adam Jackson)

Just like in the first book on the list, the presentation is in an artistic form. This is one book in a series of four books. If you like it, then read the other three books by this author, you won’t regret it. These are: 10 Secrets of Health, 10 Secrets of Love, 10 Secrets of Happiness.

4. 21 Secrets of Millionaires (Brian Tracy)

Don’t be embarrassed by the word "millionaires" in the title. The author has collected advice based on the habits of people who have achieved financial success. These tips will be useful to everyone.

5. The Millionaire Next Door (Thomas Stanley, William Danko)

Preparing this book, the authors interviewed and studied many millionaires to find common features among them. Key ideas: living materially at a lower level than your means allow, budgeting your finances and managing them effectively.

6. Think Like a Millionaire (Harv Eker)

Before writing this book, the author discovered that he was programmed for a certain amount of money. In addition, he discovered that most people have such a stabilizer and it does not allow people to receive more money.

The author believes that he has found techniques that allow you to change this program and shares them in his book.

7. The Road to Financial Freedom (Bodo Schäfer)

The author is a well-known financial consultant, lecturer and, in general, a person quite famous throughout the world.

In his book, he writes about simple and, probably, well-known statements that for some reason people do not seek to put into practice.
